It's not DARK CITY yet, but it's gettin' there

ree

Hello friends,

As always, we are hoping this post finds you well and that you had a lovely 4th of July. Since it's July, that means it must be time for a book many of you have been anxiously awaiting, DARK CITY : THE LOST WORLD OF FILM NOIR, by the one and only Czar of Noir himself, Eddie Muller. Here at Larry Edmunds Bookshop, we can't wait either!

This gorgeous revised and expanded edition of the 1998 classic will be the perfect reading in between viewings of Noir Alley.

The release date was originally July 6th, but that date was moved by the publisher to July 20th.

The good news is that it looks like the delay won't quite be that long before your kind author will be inscribing all copies and shipping will begin (in the order orders were received) by next Wednesday, July 14th.

We will do our best to get your orders sent out as quickly as possible.

We will let you know when your order is officially on the way with a follow up e-mail.

This also means, it is not too late to get your order in to get a copy of DARK CITY, inscribed personally to you!

Head on over to larryedmunds.com and order a copy of DARK CITY : THE LOST WORLD OF FILM NOIR before the darkness overtakes the number of copies ordered and they are all gone.

I can't wait for the new edition of Dark City! It's the perfect time to dive into the noir atmosphere. Eddie Muller's narration has always been captivating. Meanwhile, I've been playing basketball legends in the evenings to unwind; it's good to get away from the harsh atmosphere of old movies and have some fun. I'm eagerly awaiting the shipment. Thanks, Larry Edmunds!

I’ve always been fascinated by film noir, and Eddie Muller’s DARK CITY feels like a treasure trove for anyone who shares that passion. Waiting for the revised edition took some patience, but it was worth it to dive deeper into the genre’s rich history and visual style. The personal inscription is a nice touch that makes the experience even more special. Reading this book between episodes of Noir Alley really enhances the whole atmosphere. Whenever I need a break, I like to unwind with something light and fun - Block Blast is a great suggestion for entertainment that balances out the darker themes nicely.

So Mr. Muller will personalize our copy? How do I request that?
